Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Bury

Thai Corner (My Thai Restaurant)

50 Market St, Bury BL9 0BJ, UK – 07548 729816

Great little place. Really good authentic Thai food and really decent prices too. Highly recommended the Tom Kha soup for starter. Big juicy prawns, broth is rich and complex. The mains are great too. I especially love the spicy salads and the yellow curry. You can get a nice Thai meal and drink for under £15. Drink wise I highly recommend the mango juice

Awesome place - a little gem that all restaurants in bury could learn from. Highly recommended.

Automatic Cafe

Market St, Bury BL9 0BW, UK – 0161 763 9399

I went here for a late evening meal in the week. A nice menu and selection of drinks. The food is all down to the presentation but unfortunately, the quality is not what I expected for the price. The house red was lovely and a nice bar area. Lacking in a little character though, I thought. Staff friendly. It's just a shame the food quality wasn't up to scratch.

Great customer service! I needed a larger table for my partially sighted husband. This request was met without argument and sorted instantly. The lady even got a table with better lighting!

The Clarence

2 Silver St, Bury BL9 0EX, UK – 0161 464 7404

If you're looking for good food cooked well then The Clarence is the place to go. My fish starter was cooked to perfection with the skin crisped beautifully. The Bearnaise sauce that accompanied my spatchcocked chicken was delicious. Being the home of Silver St Brewery I also enjoyed 2 excellent real ales.

We went on a Monday night and the atmosphere was chilled , the service was great and the food was amazing. We had the two courses for £13.75 deal and to be honest there was nothing budget about the quality of the food. This a Monday night treat and we would definitely go back again. Well done ‘The Clarence’ team.
